Samson & Sahanna Wedding

How They Met
We initially met through some mutual friends and it felt as if we had known one another for a lifetime instantaneously. – We share the same group of friends, so this one particular event at a 25th wedding anniversary, we both happened to be there which sparked a very short conversation, which lead to endless amounts of conversations after that. – We met when we were very young, first year university I believe. Looking back, we have definitely shaped one another into the people we are today

About Samson & Sahana
My husband Samson Jeyarajah and I are both born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. – My husband moved to canada at the age of 6 and I moved here at the age of 4 – We both have resided in Mississauga Ontario for majority of our lives – I attended McMaster University in Hamilton and my Husband went to UOIT & Ryerson University

I am a respiratory therapist working for a health clinic in Thornhill Ontario. I monitor, analyze, and treat my patients who have difficulty in this matter. – My husband is a Marketing director. He works with different business’ and organizations across Canada with and for their campaigns.  – Together we both have started and opened up a Decor & Photo Booth company – Mango Tree Studios. * Once we got engaged on May 23rd, 2016 (Victoria Day Weekend), the wedding planning had begun where we would search and meet with vendors as would everyone. However, this process was a bit more exciting for the two of us and it inspired us to start our own services in the wedding industry. We have always done decor for friends and family events and what not, but this process helped us realize that we wanted to provide our services to future brides & grooms as we know how stressful wedding planning can be! Our goal is and has always been to provide our services at affordable pricing without compromising even a tad bit of quality, and by adding our personal experience and touch we now proudly offer Decor & Photo Booth services.
Wedding and Love
Oh man, our first date! It was so long ago but I remember it like it was just yesterday. Since we both went to different universities in different cities, we always met up with each other using the GO bus/train. This particular day, we both finished classes and took the GO Bus back to Square One Mississauga, where we had dinner at Moxies, shared some desert, conversations, and laughs. This was first of many dates that followed in a similar manner. – Meeting our parents: we actually kept it very formal as we both were in school, so we both waited til we finished university and graduated then we introduced each others to our parents officially (although they already knew for a while – Mothers intuitions always right). – After the introduction, things started to progress rather quickly as we were ready. We got engaged in may 2016 then we got married July 2017. We got married on Saturday July 8th 2017 – We officially “Tied the Thali” at Kingsview Methodist Church in Etobicoke – Our reception was held at Scarborough Convention Centre. The wedding planning was more or less easier for us as at that point we had several connections with vendors in the industry who have helped make our wedding process that much easier. Scarborough Convention Centre, Perfect Setting Inc, DJ Incarnation, Plan My Day Wedding, Fortress studios, MC Donovan to name a few.
