About The Designer

Launched in September 2011, Blossom Box Jewelry is the brainchild of creatively charged entrepreneur Rekha Brar who pursued her lifelong passion for jewelry by taking a detour and following her instincts. It was in accounting where Rekha’s professional career originally began, but it was in her love of jewelry design that it took its course. Inspired by the jewels of the Mughal era, the line aims to capture a time of opulence and vibrancy, when colors and textures danced together. As a child, Rekha remembers her trips to India in vivid color. Walking through the markets, she was inspired by the rows and rows of sparkling jewels. After graduating from the Zicklin School of Business in New York City, Rekha decided to take the risk and launch her own label – Blossom Box Jewelry. Rekha has been a style ambassador for exquisite jewelry ever since.

Blossom Box Gives Back

Businesses that support charities are always high in our books and Blossom Box is no different! Blossom Box Jewelry, has a history of partnering with charities both locally and internationally. In addition to our recent support of OPEN CLOSET for Dress for Success and a silent auction donation to The BWFP Spring Celebration for The Billy Weeks Fellowship Program, Blossom Box Jewelry has also partnered with Haute Trotter for New York To Bombay “Shop for Good” event to bring help to the children of India. Recently, Blossom Box Jewelry partnered with Flirteve, to support SOS Children’s Villages, the world’s largest charity dedicated to the long-term care of orphaned and abandoned children & YWEC, to support Because I am a Girl Canada, helping to end gender inequality and poverty for young women around the world.
